This exquisite Antique Victorian Suffragette pendant has been commissioned in 15ct Yellow Gold. It features a wonderful central 0.75ct round Peridot dropper and below it a stunning 1ct pear cut Amethyst dropper. Surrounding the stones is an array of beautiful Pearls, some which are set in depictions of clovers.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope and was also known to represent Green for Give, White for Women and Violet for Votes.
A fabulous brooch and a fantastic piece of history and heritage which comes with a decorated bale to be hung on a gold chain.
