Beautiful Faceted Peridot  here ~ a perfect Peridot Green with that touch of Yellow which opens the Heart with Joy. There are some inclusions but to me those add some character and sparkle. The photograph in my hand is in Sunlight, the rest are taken in my light box. As you can see the shade of green varies quite a lot according to lighting.

Peridot rarely forms large crystals, so beautiful large gemstones like this one are highly valued. The faceting is superb and it's a very deep cut which enhances both colour and brilliance.

Quality craftsmanship and design from Pauls' Workshop ~ using 95% pure silver rather than the standard 92.5% which gives a brighter finish and needs less cleaning. The bezel has also been curved underneath to fit your finger more comfortably. The design has a classical simplicity that has been executed brilliantly.

Peridot has a long History. In the Ancient World it was mined for 3000 years on the isle of Zagarbad in the Red Sea. The Ancient Greeks claimed it bestowed Royal Dignity, whilst merchants favoured it for protection since it relaxes nervous tension.

In Ancient Times this was known as the Merchants stone, no doubt helping prosperity both within and without. It was also called a Royal stone, which is no doubt why it's always been one of my favourite Leo stones. This beautiful stone carries the joyful energy of Spring - regeneration, new life and vitality.

It  traditionally helps to overcome nervous excitement and attract good luck and abundance.
